Effective 2026-08-18. The short version: we collect what an order needs and nothing else.
what we collect
When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and what you bought. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor — your card number goes to Stripe, never to us or our servers. Stripe's own privacy policy governs that data.
The shopping bag on this site lives in your browser's local storage, on your device. Nothing in it is sent anywhere until you check out.
who we share it with
Your name, shipping address, and order contents go to our print production partner — for the sole purpose of producing and delivering your order. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, ever.
analytics
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (Vercel Analytics) to see which pages are visited. It does not use cross-site tracking cookies and does not build a profile of you.
We email you about your order — confirmation, shipping, tracking. We only send marketing email if you've explicitly signed up for it, and every such email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
retention and your rights
We keep order records as long as tax and accounting rules require. To access or delete the personal information we hold about you, email hello@stoaplates.com and we'll act on it within 30 days.
changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date.
